Services and Fees

  • I offer free, 15-minute initial consultations via phone or video to discuss what is bringing you to therapy, my approach, or any other concerns.

  • Commonly known as an “intake.” This is an hour-long or more session, which will allow me to best identify your needs and current concerns. This involves diagnosis and collaborative treatment planning and may include brief reports or letters. Fee: $300.

  • Individual therapy sessions are 50-60 minute sessions and will involve our 1-on-1 work together, sometimes including talk therapy, DBT, EMDR, PE, or other modalities, to explore your needs and concerns. Fee: $200-250.

  • Phone coaching is a DBT-specific service provided to help people utilize and generalize DBT skills in stressful, real-life situations. The coaching is brief and solution-focused. Fee: 15-20 minutes free, time after is billed based on time of call.

  • I provide DBT Skills Groups., which are skills-focused groups that follow a module-based structure over a specific time period. Fee: $75 per session.

  • I am not offering couples or family therapy at this time** Couples therapy will involve 50-minute joint sessions with your family member or significant other, including our initial consultation, intake, treatment planning, and therapeutic work to address your concerns. Fee: $200

insurance

Grounded Spirit Psychology, PLLC does accept some insurances in network, including Aetna, CIGNA, Blue Cross Blue Shield of New York, Carelon commercial plans, and United Healthcare. I will let you know ahead of time if I am in network or out of network. Please know that co-payment will vary by plan and that you should check with your insurance provider regarding their coverage of mental health services.

For out-of-network services, I do submit electronically for most insurance plans to reduce the hassle to you. The fee would be determined by your plan and our negotiation. I can also provide you with a monthly Superbill to submit to your insurer to claim reimbursement which includes the service(s) provided, CPT code, location of service provided, diagnostic code, fee, and date(s) of service.
